I’ll remember Esbjörn.

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

It’s a sad day for jazz as the world-renowned pianist Esbjörn Svensson, leader of the group E.S.T., has passed away. Truly considered a modern jazz pioneer, he can be credited with some of the most innovative and exciting jazz to date. As one of the few jazzmen able to breach through to more mainstream audiences, he will surely be missed. We truly admire all that he has accomplished for our art and we offer our most sincere condolences to his family and friends.
