Somehow stumbled on this Remi Panossian EPK. The young (everything’s relative, lol, he’s about 30) pianist hailing from Montpellier, France, is about to drop his sophomore album with acolytes Maxime Delporte on upright and Frederic Petitprez on drums. I like what I’m hearing so far. Can’t wait to listen to the album in it’s entirety!! And if I still haven’t convinced you to click “Play”, keep in mind Remi obtained “Revelation of the year 2011″ by the French radio TSF JAZZ, a mention he shared with Gregory Porter.
